Emissions testing is now required in many states. Maintaining a proper maintenance schedule for your vehicle will go far in ensuring a passing grade on your emissions test. If you are not granted a pass, you will most likely be given instruction to see that repairs are performed on your vehicle within a specific time frame and may then re-take the test for no additional test fee.
